Do I need a passport to travel from LA to Sacramento?
so i am flying to sacramento from LAX. Do i need a passport in order to fly? and if i dont what proff do i need to bring to the airport in order to fly?

no, passports are for traveling to different countries. You should bring a military ID, school ID, or driver's license.

Both LA and Sacramento are in the state of California, and California IS one of the 50 states in the United States of America. Why on earth do you think you'd need a passport to go between 2 cities in the US, much LESS the same state!?? NO, you don't need a passport to fly between the 2 cities.

You need a picture ID that is issued by a government agency or two non-photo IDs, one of which must be issued by a government agency. A passport qualifies as a picture ID but your picture ID does not have to be a passport. A drivers license works fine.

About cheapest way to travel from sacramento to seattle
cheapest way to travel from sacramento to seattle?
I really want my girlfriend to come up here and visit next week but airfare is so expensive! And the greyhound is more expensive than flying somehow...does anyone have any ideas? She can't drive here. I'm hoping to spend less than $200 round-trip for travel alone. Any help is most appreciated

Your problem is timing. To fly from Sacramento to Seattle next week will run you $280 (taxes included) because your travel is "spur of the moment". If you book that SAME flight more that 30 days in advance, and fly mid-week (Tues-Thurs) that round trip fare is $200 (taxes included) and that is within your price range.

I had gave my atm card # for the trip, before it was processed, I ask for the trip to be cancelled, was told that it was $100.00 per person, which was not discussed prior, no contract or any kind. . The card payment was charged to GoGoVacations and ALL ABOUT TRAVEL. My bank is investigation these charges. If my bank cannot get my funds, what is the next step for my to go and do. Found same trip, much, much cheaper than the price quoted by East Sacramento Travel.

It all depends on how many miles per gallon your vehicle gets. If it gets like 20 miles per gallon -which if it's a car it will get more then 20 and an SUV will get less then 20. So say it gets 20 miles per gallon at 2.85 then it will cost you one way about $19. So $38 round trip. A few dollars less if you have a car a few dollars more if you have an SUV.

About How long does it take to travel from Sacramento to San Francisco by speed boat
How long does it take to travel from Sacramento to San Francisco by speed boat.?
I was wondering if it could be faster than driving, without killing yourself by hitting a log or something. Please don't respond if you don't know anything about boating like Stella39. Sacramento is at the junction of two major rivers STELLA39 and there is a MAJOR shipping canal which leads right to the San Francisco bay.

I'm not sure of exactly how long it takes to get to San Francisco by speed boat, but there is the Sacramento River that goes pretty long. I was all the way by Redding, and I saw that it goes that far. But I would think that it takes at least 4 - 5 hours by boat, but it takes at least 2 hours by driving (depending if there's traffic.)

I will be traveling with standard airline baggage -- one check in bag, one cabin bag, and a laptop backpack. Next week will be my first trip to the US.

I live in Sacramento and my mom and me decided to go to a cruise we got everything tickets. But we dont know how to get there. My mom doesnt know the area so we cant travel by car. And its to expensive to fly there. And it has to be pretty non expensive.

I was planning on taking a road trip with some friends over our winter break, how much gas money would i need to travel from Sacramento to Orlando?

At about $3.20 per gallon, that's about $450 in gas EACH WAY, for a total of $900 in gasoline. Not to mention the wear & tear on your car - you might want to fly... or take a bus. If you drive 12 hours a day at 70 mph, that's 840 miles per day. You'd need 3.5 days of travel each way, or 7 days of total travel time.
