I need to know what's the cheapest way to travel from Texas [ McAllen or Houston] to Sacramento, California. I want to go to a concert in Sacramento but I don't know if all the ways to travel are expensive, I want to know a cheap way to go to Sacramento. Thanks

How much gas will it take to travel from sacramento to lake tahoe?
How many gallons of gas do you think it will take to get there or estimate all together...gas is 2.85 now so how much money do you think ill spend on gas?

It all depends on how many miles per gallon your vehicle gets. If it gets like 20 miles per gallon -which if it's a car it will get more then 20 and an SUV will get less then 20. So say it gets 20 miles per gallon at 2.85 then it will cost you one way about $19. So $38 round trip. A few dollars less if you have a car a few dollars more if you have an SUV.

About How long does it take to travel from Sacramento to San Francisco by speed boat
How long does it take to travel from Sacramento to San Francisco by speed boat.?
I was wondering if it could be faster than driving, without killing yourself by hitting a log or something. Please don't respond if you don't know anything about boating like Stella39. Sacramento is at the junction of two major rivers STELLA39 and there is a MAJOR shipping canal which leads right to the San Francisco bay.

Your best bet is flying. Sacramento is not near water. It's located in the middle of the state. look at a California map and good luck)

I'm not sure of exactly how long it takes to get to San Francisco by speed boat, but there is the Sacramento River that goes pretty long. I was all the way by Redding, and I saw that it goes that far. But I would think that it takes at least 4 - 5 hours by boat, but it takes at least 2 hours by driving (depending if there's traffic.)

What is the cheapest and quickest mode to travel from Sacramento to San Jose?
I will be traveling with standard airline baggage -- one check in bag, one cabin bag, and a laptop backpack. Next week will be my first trip to the US.

The single way air ticket is USD240! And it's with two stopovers and takes almost 12hours! Maybe you have better choice than the flight.

The Capitol Corridor train is the route my daughter takes when she comes home to Sacramento from San Jose State. It takes about 3 hours, but only costs $34. You'll have plenty of room, be able to walk around and stretch your legs, and even use the free onboard wifi with your laptop. What experience has anyone has with cancelllation fees on line wilth East Sacramento Travel or Others?
Gave my atm card # for the trip, before it was processed, I ask for the trip to be cancelled, was told that it was $100.00 per person, which was not discussed prior, no contract or any kind. . The card payment was charged to GoGoVacations and ALL ABOUT TRAVEL. My bank is investigation these charges. If my bank cannot get my funds, what is the next step for my to go and do. Found same trip, much, much cheaper than the price quoted by East Sacramento Travel
